Ally to Entrepreneurs, Independent Thinker, Patron for Pedestrian Safe Streets, and an Advocate for the Arts.

Phil Kregel is a lifelong resident of Denton, born at Flow Hospital and has lived within District Four, all his life. He attended school at Frank Borman and Sam Houston Elementary, and graduated from Denton High School.  He later went on to earn his degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of North Texas.

Phil cherishes the opportunities Denton has given him and feels very strongly that this city deserves keen leadership. He is engaged with the community of Denton – having served on the city’s committee to help stamp out second hand smoke, currently serving on his Fraternities Alumni board, and actively participating in neighborhood cleanups to continue to help “Keep Denton Beautiful”.

As a mortgage industry professional, Phil helps families secure financing so they can begin to build their lives in this great town and the surrounding area. Our city is expanding at every corner and South Denton deserves a public servant that has the tenacity and commitment to think independently on matters that will help progress Denton into the decades to come.

Phil will be an ally to entrepreneurs, an independent thinker, a promoter of pedestrian friendly roads, and an advocate of the arts.
